The Makita cordless 1‑3/16 Inch rotary hammer kit contains rotary hammer, 40 Volt max XGT® Lithium-Ion 4 Amp-Hour battery, charger, side handle, grease, towel and tool bag. Brushless motor provides ample power, speed and runtime required for heavy-load applications. The three-mode operations like "Rotation Only", "Hammering with Rotation" or "Hammering Only" makes it a versatile and useful tool for wider range of applications. Anti-Vibration Technology is an internal counterbalance system that works with vibration-absorbing handles to minimize vibration. Auto-start wireless mechanism makes use of Bluetooth technology to facilitate wireless communication between tool and dust extractor. A quick change chuck enables the use of straight shank bits with SDS-PLUS and 1/2 Inch keyless chucks. Active feedback-sensing technology monitors the tools performance and detects any sudden changes in rotation speed. An electric brake stops the tool quickly when the trigger is released and helps in preventing injury by reducing the risk of accidental contact. The torque limiting clutch protects the gears from damage during a bind-up situation. Variable speed dial and trigger enables easy monitoring of operating speed. Built-in on/off LED light brightens up the work space in dark conditions. Ergonomic handle with large two-finger trigger has a soft-grip that prevents slipping and ensures good operational comfort. Retractable hook allows a tool to be securely fastened in place when not in use. Extreme protection technology ensures great resistance to dust and water in harsh jobsite conditions.
