RIKON 71-106 Z4 Chuck, 50mm Jaw, Woodscrew and Chuck Key, Insert Type

• This Z4 Chuck requires your choice of appropriately sized Threaded Insert adapter (sold separately) to be installed into the rear of the chuck to mount the chuck on your lathe. Kit includes a 50mm (2″) Jaw Set, Wood Screw RH, Chuck Key, T-handle T20 Wrench, 3mm Hex Wrench and Instructions. For use on larger lathes with swings 14″ and above.
• The Z4 Chuck is 3-7/8″ (98.5mm) diameter and with your selected Threaded Insert (sold separately), it weighs only about 4 lbs. This robust weight and larger chuck diameter is best for use on larger size lathes that turn heavier wood projects which can damage smaller sized lathes. Chuck has an extra-fine finish with etched safety icons and serial number for registering under the industry’s best 10 year warranty!
• 50mm (2″) Jaw Set accessory that is included with the Z4 Chuck is one of the most popular, standard jaw styles for holding bowl or spindle/tenon projects. Over 20 other sizes and shapes of RIKON jaw sets are available for use with the Z4 chuck to hold bowls, platters, pen making blanks or other turnings on your lathe.
• The Wood Screw is held by the chuck to mount small bowl or other light weight projects for turning. Sharp threads cut into wood for best holding power. Requires a pilot hole bored in the wood before installation.
• The 70-106 Z4 Chuck requires a Threaded Insert adapter before it can be mounted on a lathe. Sold separately, RIKON offers four different insert thread options for the Z4 chuck: 71-120 is threaded for M33x3.5 ISO RH lathe spindles; 71-121 has 1″x8 TPI UNC RH threads; 71-122 has 1-1/4″x8 TPI UNS RH threads; and 71-123 has M30x3.5 RH threads.
