• SCRIBING NOTCHES: This square layout tool's continuous scribing notches are ideal for ripping at 1-1/2", 3-1/2", 5-1/2", and 7-1/2" as well as markers that measure 2×4 board dimensions of 1-1/2"; 3" and 3-1/2". These also help in creating a saw cut line for rip cuts.
• APPLICATIONS: This framing square’s edge that allows cross-cuts and angled cuts to be made directly with the saw against the square. It simplifies stair layout with the inbuilt distance and angle scales that allow you to mark your cut lines on your stringers. 1/8" scale reads from 1-1/2" to 9-1/4"
